The Katana
Though this type of sword is more closely associated with the Samurai of Japan, these swords were still employed by Ninjas. Many Ninjas were unable to purchase these however, but in their numerous battles with the Samurai, and other armed enemies, it is not beyond belief that a Ninja would simply kill the assailant, and take his weapon for their own. The Katana is arguably one of the best swords ever made, the Japanese craftsman who created them were truly masters. Many antique Katanas from that time are still as deadly today as in there own time.
